Privacy Policy
Effective date: Oct 7, 2026
Introduction
OEM Earthworks, LLC ("OEM Earthworks," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit oemearthworks.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies only to information collected through the Site and through calls or messages you place to us from the Site. By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a contact or quote request form, email us, or call us, we collect what you choose to provide. This may include your name, phone number, email address, mailing or project address, and details about your project.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including:
IP address and approximate location (city or region) derived from it
Browser type, device type, and operating system
Pages viewed, time spent on pages, links and buttons clicked, and the website or ad that referred you
Cookie identifiers, pixel or tag data, and similar online identifiers
Whether you clicked one of our ads before visiting, and actions you take afterward (such as submitting a form or calling us)
Call information. If you call us using the phone number shown on the Site, Google may display a forwarding number to measure calls that come from our ads. When this happens, Google may record call details such as the caller's area code, the date and time of the call, and call duration. Calls are not recorded through this feature.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies, tags, pixels, and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored in your browser; tags and pixels are snippets of code that send information to the provider when a page loads or an action occurs. The Site currently uses the following:
| Technology | Provider | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Website hosting and site analytics | Squarespace | Hosts the Site, processes form submissions, and sets cookies needed for the Site to function and to measure visits. Squarespace Privacy Policy |
| Google Tag Manager | Google LLC | Loads and manages the other tags on the Site. Tag Manager itself does not build profiles of visitors. Google Privacy Policy |
| Google Ads conversion tracking and call tracking | Google LLC | Measures whether visitors who clicked our Google ads go on to contact us by form or phone, and may show a Google forwarding number to track calls from ads. |
| Google Ads remarketing | Google LLC | May allow us to show our ads to people who previously visited the Site as they browse other websites and Google services. |
| Meta Pixel | Meta Platforms, Inc. | Measures the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads, and lets us show ads to people who visited the Site or to audiences similar to them. Meta Privacy Policy |
| Spark Plugin | Spark Plugin | Applies design features to the Site and checks with the provider's server that the plugin is active, storing a short-lived status setting in your browser. It is not used for advertising. |
These providers may collect information about your use of the Site over time and across other websites, and their use of it is governed by their own privacy policies.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
Respond to your inquiries, prepare estimates, and provide our services
Communicate with you about your project
Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
Measure how visitors find and use the Site
Measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Google, Facebook, and Instagram
Show relevant ads to people who have visited the Site or who may be interested in our services
Protect the Site against fraud, abuse, and security threats
Comply with legal obligations
Advertising and Remarketing
We advertise on Google and on Meta's platforms (Facebook and Instagram). Through the Google Ads tags and the Meta Pixel, these companies may use cookies and identifiers to show our ads to people who visited the Site, to build audiences of people with similar characteristics, and to report to us how our ads perform. We receive aggregated reports; we do not receive your Google or Facebook account details.
You can limit this advertising in several ways:
Google: manage ad personalization at My Ad Center.
Meta: adjust your Ad Preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account.
Industry opt-outs: use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out.
Your browser: block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
Opting out stops personalized ads based on your visits, but you may still see general ads from us. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:
Service providers: companies that host the Site, provide analytics, or help us advertise and measure ads (including Squarespace, Google, and Meta), and marketing agencies that manage our advertising on our behalf. They may use the information only to provide services to us, or as described in their own privacy policies for the advertising and analytics tools listed above.
Legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of OEM Earthworks, our customers, or others.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business.
With your consent: in any other case where you have asked or agreed for us to share it.
Under some state laws, allowing advertising partners to collect information through cookies and pixels for targeted advertising may be considered "sharing" or "selling" personal information. See Your Choices and Rights below to opt out.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
Know what personal information we have collected about you and request a copy
Correct inaccurate personal information
Delete personal information we hold about you
Opt out of targeted advertising and of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control browser signal as a request to opt out of targeted advertising for that browser.
You can also unsubscribe from any marketing email we send by using the link in the email or by contacting us.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, such as completing your project, keeping business and tax records, and meeting legal requirements. Advertising and analytics providers retain data according to their own policies.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Websites
The Site may link to other websites and social media pages, such as our Facebook page. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
